According to stats, as of 2018 the average life span of a man (in the USA. ) is 76 years of age. Or in other words, on average, a man will live 27,740 days. Now depending on your perspective, that either seems like a lot of time or not so much.
If this statistic holds true for me, at 56 years young, I only have 7,300 days left to live, serve, and heed my calling. Yikes, that is an awakening for sure...better get to work!
Now if we want to take a step further, let's say we only include our waking hours. through this lens, I have approximately (after allocating 7 hours/day for sleeping = 51,000 hours snoozing) 124,100 waking hours to live, love and lead.
If we are conservative and remove 2 more hours per day for daily life maintenance, we are down to 109,500 hours remaining to complete my assignment. Think I'm going to stop there and get back to work Heeding My Calling... 😉
Can you hear the grains of sand falling through the hour glass...and there's nothing we can do to stop them. But there is something we can do to make sure we steward our allotted time wisely.
My challenge to you (and me) this week is to get serious about how we are spending out time and determine is it the best and highest investment of our precious grains of sand. Use your HYC MANifest to help identify and eliminate those nasty time-suckers that take us off course and replace them with high payoff allocations that will move you closer towards living out the life you have been created for and called to.
We all have a divine assignment this side of heaven and I don't know about you but I fear not completing that awesome privilege and hearing those sweet words from the Lord, Well Done Good And Faithful Servant. How about You?
